The 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program (CCLC) is a U.S. Department of Education program, administered through the states, providing grants to schools, youth development agencies, community and faith-based organizations, to provide high quality, expanded learning opportunities outside of regular school hours for children in a safe and sound educational environment. The program is authorized under Title IV, Part B, of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.
The 21st CCLC program is an essential part of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. Many communities across the Commonwealth are working together with new energy and inspiration to create a more positive future for their children and youth. Their focus is on constructive learning activities during non-school hours. With caring adult guidance, programs will help to reduce achievement gaps and improve student performance. 21st CCLC Inclement Weather Plan |
