Eastern Kentucky University offers your group the ambiance of an academic setting with all the amenities of a full service conference center.
Our Conferencing & Event Professionals plan and coordinate more than 800 successful meetings, conferences, training sessions and banquets each year. Although most of our events are scheduled at our home base in the Carl D. Perkins Building, we also have access to many other sites on campus, including Alumni Coliseum, the Keen Johnson Building, and the Crabbe Library. Additionally, we plan and produce events of all types off campus as well. Our annual events include the Kentucky Touchstone Energy All 'A' Classic High School Basketball Tournament, the EKU Rescue School for fire, police, and EMS personnel, Kentucky Special Olympics Summer Games, numerous band and sports camps throughout the summer, and events of all varieties throughout the year.

Facilities
- Carl D. Perkins Conference Center - Offers large multi-purpose rooms, spacious registration areas, unrestricted parking, an internet ready computer lab classrooms, audio and video equipment, and technical support.
- Keen Johnson Ballroom & Walnut Hall - Centrally located on the EKU campus, the elegant Keen Johnson Ballroom seats 400 people for banquets. For more intimate gatherings, Walnut Hall seats 150 guests. Great for receptions!
- Alumni Coliseum's McBrayer Arena and Auxiliary Gym - The dynamic McBrayer Arena in Alumni Coliseum seats 6,500 people and hosts various sporting events. In addition to the main arena, the Auxiliary Gym is also available for sports, recreation, and other programs.
- Gifford Theatre - Seats 356 people and is ideal for performing arts and large group presentations.
- Brock Auditorium - Seats 1600 people and caters to a wide variety of performing arts.
- Stratton Cafe - Seats 225 people and is available for banquets and receptions. The cafe overlooks a serene six acre pond.
- Posey Auditorium - Located in the Henry D. Stratton building, Posey Auditorium has been recently renovated. The auditorium seats 250 people and contains the latest in audio/visual equipment.
- The Ravine - This Greek amphitheater provides a beautiful backdrop for outdoor events.
- Chapel of Meditation - Located in the center of campus, the Chapel is used for weddings, memorial services, and for special services.
- Hummel Planetarium -Seating 160 people, Hummel is one of the largest planetariums in the United States. It is a wonderful venue for schools and public programs.

Services
Conferencing and Events serves the University as well as businesses, government agencies, associations, organizations, and the community. We plan and coordinate campus facilities and services for conferences, workshops, seminars, fairs, expositions, banquets, receptions, camps, and much more.
