William Bondurant has studied woodcarving under 3 local carvers who have taught continuing education classes in woodcarving. His special area of interest is in carving Welsh (Celtic) Love Spoons. He also does caricatures, primarily santas and snowmen.
Marilyn Bowman was born in New York City and has lived on a small farm in Winchester, KY for over 20 years. She is mostly a self-taught artist and finds her inspiration from her rural surroundings. Her watercolors have won awards and are found in many private collections.
Judy Bruckner, CGA is a graduate at EKU with a Bachelor of Science, Business Management emphasis. She is a certified Graphoanalyst from the International Graphoanalysis Society, which is the only organization that trains and certifies Graphoanalysts. She was awarded Graphoanalyst of the year in 2007 for her distinguished accomplishments in the field. She has been a guest lecturer on handwriting analysis throughout Kentucky. Besides lectures Judy conducts workshop and study groups to introduce the general public to basic handwriting analysis skills as taught by the International Graphoanalysis Society. She analyzes current and historical written samples to ascertain some of the personality attributes of the subject for clients from Kentucky to Tokyo, Japan who are in need of the service. Her work has been published in several newspapers and broadcast on cable television.
Anne Coleman is a professional artist who has been making baskets for over 20 years. She is invited to teach her unusual designs at seminars and conventions throughout the U.S. Anne combines many mediums with weaving and uses techniques developed from painting, pottery and leather work to create a unique life’s work.
Tammy Cornett trained under Pinky Pitaliya, a traditional mehndi artist visiting from India. She has traveled Kentucky extensively tattooing at local festivals and events. She strives to maintain traditions of this ancient art while allowing her Appalachian heritage to guide her hand.
Pamela Cveticanin is owner of Fish Wisdom Beads in Berea and an exhibiting member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen.
Roger Dalton has been playing the banjo for about 50 years. He began teaching in college and since has taught at Cotton Music Center in Nashville, Pied Piper in Huntington, WV, and for various college, YMCA and school evening classes. He played banjo with 4 Pole Creek String Band in WV (mostly for square dances), and performed on 20 or so other instruments for various kid’s programs and as a Street Musician at festivals from Nova Scotia to California.
Mandy Eppley has worked in the IT field for 12 years. She is an avid Macintosh fan and loves to make videos for family and friends. Mandy has led workshops in IT for 5 years and thoroughly enjoys it. She is also a board member for the Richmond Civitan Club.
Michael Garrett served as Stephen King's first editor. He has also edited the works of such greats as Joyce Carol Oates, Harlan Ellison, Lawrence Block and many others. He has been widely published since 1979, in periodicals ranging from Twilight Zone magazine to a novel, Keeper, which sold out its initial printing and was optioned for a movie. His short story, "At the Count of Three," was optioned as the pilot episode of a late night cable television series. His works have been published in England, Germany, Japan, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Spain, Finland and Russia, as well as in audio book format. Garrett serves as co-editor of the internationally award-winning Hot Blood anthology series, a popular selection of the Doubleday, Mystery, Literary Guild, and Science Fiction Book Clubs. The series has also been optioned for television. He was also an Editorial Associate of the Writer's Digest School, and since 1986 has presented highly acclaimed writing workshops across the nation.
George Gow has been painting for over 35 years, working with oil, gouache, acrylic and transparent watercolor. He has won many awards at local and state level art competitions and has been juried into national exhibitions. His paintings can be seen at the Kentucky Artisan Center and the Gallery in downtown Berea.
Barbara Green has over 30 years of cake decorating experience. She had an in-home business for 19 years and worked in two groceries for 3 years. She has been featured in 3 magazines and has taught for 28 years. Barbara is in the Wilton Teachers Hall of Fame. She has studied with many different teachers.
Meg Gunderson is an adjunct faculty at EKU in the Department of English, Theatre, and Women’s Studies. She is an experienced GRE teacher.

Jim Johns has been involved with dancing since the early 80’s, beginning as a student with the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. Jim has provided dance instruction for EKU for many years.

Rebecca Lankford has been clogging for 21 years and has been teaching for 12. She currently has two teams in Corbin and Harlan totaling approximately 80 dancers.
Claudia Lesko was born and raised in Germany. She moved to the U.S. 14 years ago. She learned knitting from her aunt and mother at age 9. She has not stopped since. Claudia loves to knit socks, mittens, hats, sweaters, etc. to warm the world.

Mary McAllister & Rosemary Graves have been weaving together for over 15 years. They enjoy teaching and participating in juried craft shows. Mary is the Past President of the Kentucky Basket Association and they are both members of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen.
Amy McIntosh's formal art training includes academic drawing of the human figure at the University of Louisville (Bachelor of Fine Arts, drawing; Bachelor of Arts, art history) and engraving at Miami University (Master of Fine Arts, printmaking). She has taught Drawing I, Drawing II and Art Appreciation as a graduate teaching assistant and adjunct faculty. After working in arts administration for three years, Amy received a National Science Foundation Fellowship to return to the classroom to pursue a lifelong love—botany. She is currently completing her thesis on the vascular plants of portions of Pine Mountain (Kentucky) for completion of an MS at Eastern Kentucky University. Amy is a member of the American Society of Botanical Artists and Treasurer of the Kentucky Native Plant Society. Over 50 of her pen and ink drawings have been published in Ron Jones’ Plant Life of Kentucky (2005). She enjoys drawing native flora and prefers the media of graphite and copper engraving.
Ellen McMahan is the Aquatics Director for EKU and has been training lifeguards since 1999.

James Meade is a music performance major with emphasis on guitar at Eastern Kentucky University. He has been accepted to study with guitarists such as Pablo Villegas, Carlos Perez, and Grammy award winning William Kanengiser. He has been teaching and performing on the guitar for four years.
Parker Owens is the Web Accessibility Coordinator at EKU. She has over eight years experience in web development, and also enjoys blogging, podcasting, wiki's, and virtual environments.
Jill Renfro has been weaving baskets for nine years and teaching workshops for 4 years. She has taught adults, 4-H programs, elementary school children and church youth group workshops.

Ann Smith is FTD masters designer certified and received her floriculture degree from EKU. She was a floral designer for Village Florist for 10 years.
Bernie Schweickart’s background is that of a private piano instructor and professional performer in Louisville, KY. His career in music spans over 35 years in which he has taught, composed, recorded, and performed both in Louisville and Nashville, TN. He is the owner of Home Music Inc. and currently teaches about 40 private students a week, conducts piano workshops, and performs at various local clubs. He is also very active in using the new “high tech” aspects of music found in the new generation of electronic keyboards, computers and MIDI sequencing software.
Mark Sweet is a Geologist for Shield Environmental Associates Inc. in Lexington, KY. He earned a B.S. degree in Geology from EKU in 1982.
Joanna Thompson has a Bachelor’s of Art in Art, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Eastern Kentucky University. She is a member of the National Council on Education for the Ceramics Arts (NCECA).
