Kicking & Long Snapping Academy – June 1st & 2nd
Not only will you learn the most advanced training techniques available, you'll also experience "accelerated" skill development through this unique teaching method. We invite you to join the legendary Ray Guy and our outstanding staff of teaching professionals for the most comprehensive program of its kind.

Junior & Senior Day Camp – June 3rd & 14th
You will be instructed by Dean Hood and the rest of the Eastern Kentucky University football staff, along with various other college coaches throughout the Commonwealth! You will work position specific drills and skills in a competitive environment.

Cost: $30 pre-register (no refunds one week prior to the beginning of camp) or $40 walk-up
Check In: 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in the Moberly Building lobby

Offensive & Defensive Lineman Academy – June 5th & 6th
Campers must be entering grades 7-12 in the fall of 2008. This camp is a full speed contact camp for all offensive and defensive linemen. Campers will work on the fundamentals of offensive and defensive line play. This camp is one of the top academies in the country on pass rush and pass protection techniques. Stance, football alignment, use of hands, blocking and pass rush techniques are introduced and developed.

Cost: $175 residential or $140 commuter for pre-registration; $200 residential or $165 commuter for walk-up

Check Out: 4:30 p.m.
*All residential campers are housed in EKU air-conditioned residence halls within walking distance of the football practice facilities.

Offensive & Defensive Skills Camp – June 12th & 13th
Campers must be entering grades 7-12 in the fall of 2008. This camp is a helmet and jersey camp for QB, RB, WR, TE, LB and DB. Campers will work on the fundamentals of the passing game. Offensively, campers will work on position specific skills including stance, starts, steering routes, throwing and receiving. Defensively, campers will work on man coverage skills, hands, landmarks, turnover techniques and situational drills.

STEP (Summer Transition Enhancement Program) – June 7th - 14th
STEP prepares deaf and hard of hearing students for life after high school! In order to qualify students must have completed their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year of high school as of June 2008. Youth Salute – June 8th
This educational program recognizes outstanding students and involves them in seminars and workshops designed specifically to further develop their leadership skills. EKU will be hosting this year’s Youth Salute in the Perkins Conference Center and Hummel Planetarium located on the Richmond campus. 750 high school juniors from 37 schools within a 50 mile radius of EKU have been nominated for Youth Salute. Students will participate in sessions throughout the day, and many will have the opportunity to win a variety of scholarships and awards at the close of the program. |

2008 Foothills Soccer Academy June 9th – 13th & June 21st - 25th
The Foothills Soccer Academy is focused on helping local players, of any skill level, develop their skills and knowledge of the game. Technique and skill development will be done appropriate to the age and skill level of each player. The camp is built on the principles of fun, technique, tactics and a low player-to-coach ratio. Migrant Education Program EKU Regional Summer Camp – June 16th - 20th
This camp focuses on career exploration and academic goal setting for children enrolled the KY Migrant Education Program. The camp is designed for those students who will be in grades 7-10 for the 2008-2009 school year. In addition to the career and academic focus, students will have time to enjoy area recreational activities. Camp participants will live on EKU’s campus for the week which will conclude with a family celebration the last day of camp.

The 2008 Jeff Neubauer Basketball Camp will be held June 23-26 and August 4-7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the EKU campus. The camps are for boys and girls ages 7-16. American Laundry & Linen College – October 19th - 25th
The Association for Linen Management presents the American Laundry and Linen College, an intensive classroom based program presented as a three-part series of educational training programs held each Fall and Spring semester in the Perkins Conference Center on EKU’s Richmond campus. Course instruction and training include staffing standards, chemical and equipment selection and utilization, infection control, pest management and interior design.
