Take a proactive approach to safety!

Established in 2003, Eastern Kentucky University's OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Center serves Region IV, an 8-state region, and offers a variety of safety and health training. EKU draws upon the expertise of internationally recognized EKU faculty, as well as area safety and health professionals to develop and provide quality training. EKU is dedicated to promoting a safe and healthy work environment, reducing the number of workplace accidents and fatalities. With unique facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, EKU is able to provide hands-on learning, further enriching participants' knowledge and understanding. We are pleased to announce a series of training opportunities to be held in Louisville, Kentucky beginning this Fall. OSHA 510 – Standards for Construction and OSHA 511 – Standards for General Industry will be offered as well as courses which will prepare you to become an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer.
