OSHA 510
Occupational Safety & Health Standards for Construction – 30 hour
January 15-18, 2008
This course for private sector personnel covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as construction safety and health principles. Emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous. Upon successful course completion, the student will receive an OSHA construction safety and health 30-hour course completion card.
OSHA 500
Trainer Course in OSHA Standards for Construction
February 5-8, 2008
This course allows the student to become a trainer in the Outreach Program and to conduct both a 10- and a 30-hour construction safety and health course and to issue cards to participants verifying course completion. Students in OSHA 500 who wish to participate as authorized trainers in the Outreach Program must successfully pass a written exam at the end of the course and are required to attend OSHA 502 at least once every four years to maintain trainer status.
Prerequisites: OSHA 510 or equivalent and five years of construction safety experience.
OSHA 511
Occupational Safety & Health Standards for General Industry – 30 hour
April 1-4, 2008
This course for private sector personnel covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principles. Emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous. Upon successful course completion, the student will receive an OSHA general industry safety and health 30-hour course completion card.
Prerequisites: None
OSHA 501
Trainer Course in OSHA Standards for General Industry
May 6-9, 2008
This course allows the student to become a trainer in the Outreach Program and to conduct both a 10- and a 30-hour general industry safety and health course and to issue cards to participants verifying course completion. Students in OSHA 501 who wish to participate as authorized trainers in the Outreach Program must successfully pass a written exam at the end of the course and are required to attend OSHA 503 at least once every four years to maintain trainer status.
Prerequisites: OSHA 511 or equivalent and five years of general industry safety experience.
Registration fee for each class is $695.00.
