Computer Assisted Design CertificationThe courses listed below may be taken individually or as part of a new CERTIFICATION program offered by the EKU Division of Continuing Education and Outreach. In order to receive certification, participants must complete Blueprint Reading, Basic AutoCAD (Level I), 3-D Drawing & Modeling or Advanced AutoCAD (Level II). Blueprint Reading (12 hours) Tuition: $237.00In the 12 hours scheduled, participants will learn to recognize standard symbols, ratings and associated data and will be able to read prints for trouble-shooting, equipment installation and interpreting maintenance manuals interpretation. ▪ Standard symbols ▪ Fluid print comprehension ▪ Electrical print comprehension ▪ Mechanical print comprehension AutoCAD 2005 Level I – Introduction (30 hours) Tuition: $485.00Level I is a hands-on course developed for people who have a basic understanding of the PC with little or no AutoCAD experience. Instruction is provided on software set-up and fundamentals of AutoCAD commands. ▪ Instruction includes creating and editing AutoCAD drawings. ▪ Managing files ▪ Excellent way to begin working in Computer Assisted Design. ▪ Using the Design Center
